Dorothy Wootton (ne Hall)
Died 2nd July 2008
76 Years
Retired from Sanderson Kayser, Sheffield. Mum died less than 5 weeks after my dad
http://jack-wootton.gonetoosoon.org/memorial/
She collapsed following an Aneurysm, despite the bleed healing, mum did not have the strength to fight back. She chose to be with her husband of 57+ years and slipped gently away in hospital.
She is survived by sons John, Kev & Paul. Daughters Wendy, Yvonne & Teresa. Numerous Grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is reunited with son Barry
My mum - She was the rock of the family. You could always turn to mum, she supported us and loved us, not matter what we had done. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Watching dad fade away became too much for mum to bear and she suffered from ill health for weeks before he passed. Her sudden illness came at a time when she had no fight left.
Dad just went on ahead to make sure it was good enough for her.

┊ ♥ MISS YOU LOVE YOU BIG HUGS
♥ TAKE CARE BYE FOR NOW
ALL MY LOVE SYLVIE
I was not sure what to get you
On this special Father's Day
So I though I’d write this letter
This is what I’d like to say
I would like to thank you Dad
For everything you did
For your love and understanding
For me your special kid
You set a good example
Taught me to be strong
You were always there for me
To teach me right from wrong
You’re the one, who taught me
How to work and how to play
For this I am so grateful
Each and every day
You taught me not to question
Things that were Gods will
I find this very hard to do
‘Cos I wish I was here still
I know that you are proud of me
You always told me so
And I love and am so proud of you
Although I’m sure you know
One day we’ll meet again Dad
I know that this is true
But I’m sorry that God called me home
That we’re not still together we two
So until we meet again Dad
In Heaven up above
I wish you Happy Fathers Day
And send you all my love

Happy Mother's Day
Mom lived her life for love of friends and family,
Neither asking for nor wanting a return.
Her days became a sunlit homily,
With others' joy her joy and main concern.
When we were ill, she also became sick;
When we were cut, she, too, began to bleed.
Of our oil lamp she was the wick,
Drawing her bright flame from our need.
Some say that such behavior's out of date:
That self-fulfillment is the way to grace.
But Mom, without much choice, then chose her fate,
Finding greater truth in an embrace.
She lives on in the sparkle in our eyes:
Laughing, quiet, gentle, loving, wise
A year
How can a year go so quick, sometimes it seems like it was only yesterday you were sat in the chair. Greeting us with a "put kettle on"
You were a large part of our life and you've left a hole that will never be filled.
Love you xx
Missing you and dad more than words can say. Wish I could pop up so you could tell dad to "make a cuppa Jack"
