Dorothy Wootton (ne Hall)
Died 2nd July 2008
76 Years
Retired from Sanderson Kayser, Sheffield. Mum died less than 5 weeks after my dad
http://jack-wootton.gonetoosoon.org/memorial/
She collapsed following an Aneurysm, despite the bleed healing, mum did not have the strength to
fight back. She chose to be with her husband of 57+ years and slipped gently away in hospital.
She is survived by sons John, Kev & Paul. Daughters Wendy, Yvonne & Teresa. Numerous Grandchildren
and great grandchildren. She is reunited with son Barry
My mum - She was the rock of the family. You could always turn to mum, she supported us and loved
us, not matter what we had done. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Watching dad fade away became too much for mum to bear and she suffered from ill health for weeks
before he passed. Her sudden illness came at a time when she had no fight left.
Dad just went on ahead to make sure it was good enough for her.
I don't believe in an interventionist God
But I know, darling, that you do
But if I did I would kneel down and ask Him
Not to intervene when it came to you
Not to touch a hair on your head
To leave you as you are
And if He felt He had to direct you
Then direct you into my arms
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms
And I don't believe in the existence of angels
But looking at you I wonder if that's true
But if I did I would summon them together
And ask them to watch over you
To each burn a candle for you
To make bright and clear your path
And to walk, like Christ, in grace and love
And guide you into my arms
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms
And I believe in Love
And I know that you do too
And I believe in some kind of path
That we can walk down, me and you
So keep your candle burning
And make her journey bright and pure
That she will keep returning
Always and evermore
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms
What a lady
A woman of strong Moral values, beliefs and principles who always fought for what she truely believed in. I will miss you dearly and feel like I have not only lost a wonderful aunt but a living link to my mum. I know that in heaven you will find your place or woe be tide them. Keep them all on their toes. I know there is a huge loss for John, Wendy, kevin,Von,Teri and Paul along with all your grand children. I know you'll both keep a watchful eye on them and keep close.
sending lots of love for you.

Tribute To Mum
Our Mother's Love so special,
as many folks can see,
Mum's greatest gift was giving life
to my sisters, brothers and me.
We began as children so helpless Mum,
yet never a challenge for you,
No matter how little or large the task,
there's nothing you couldn't do.
Throughout the years and as we grew,
so proud of us you were,
If we needed something Mum,
we knew you'd always be there.
You gave us so much precious love,
which came from deep inside,
Knowing the amazing Mum that you are,
fills us with tremendous pride.
You steered us through our battles Mum,
no one can disagree,
You guided us in darkened times,
and now we set you free.
You taught us so much wisdom Mum,
and loved us with your heart,
A new journey you shall now begin,
for a little while we must part.
Mum, our time with you was far too short,
there's much we'd like to say,
The days ahead they are unknown,
without you leading the way.
Although you'll look down upon us Mum,
and incredibly sad we'll fuss,
We take great pride in the fact that,
your blood flows proudly through us.
Mum, we share your strengths instilled in us,
knowing what we must do,
To continue the legacy you've already begun,
while lovingly remembering you.
Sail gently into the night Our Love;
your new beginning has come,
Although at this moment we say farewell,
forever You Are Our Mum...
